The Rough-In Phase
During rough-in, our electricians install the electrical panel, run all branch circuit wiring, install outlet and switch boxes, and position all lighting locations before drywall is installed. We coordinate closely with the framing, HVAC, and plumbing crews to ensure wiring routes are clean and conflicts are resolved early.
Rough-In Inspection
Before drywall can go up, the electrical rough-in must be inspected and approved by the local building authority. We ensure all work meets the current edition of the NEC as adopted by Baltimore City and County, and we work with the inspector to address any items before the project falls behind schedule.
Final Trim and Energization
After drywall, paint, and finish work, we return to install all devices (outlets, switches, dimmers), install lighting fixtures, connect appliances, and terminate all circuits at the panel. We perform a complete circuit-by-circuit test before the home is energized and ensure every outlet, switch, and fixture operates correctly.
